A market-leading, ever-present transmission and distribution contractor of High Voltage solutions is on the lookout for the next Design Engineer to join their team. Recently, they have acquired even more work and are well and truly on target with the works they currently have. It's an exciting time to be at this company and the influx of contracts won recently, has meant a need for a Design Engineer is apparent.
As Design Engineer, you would join a well-oiled team to take on a range of transmission and distribution projects across the UK & Ireland. Day to day, you would find yourself visiting clients and sites in order to get the most information possible in order to ensure the work you produce is of the highest quality as a Design Engineer.
You would be producing reports and proposals in a general sense for the projects as part of your team. As Design Engineer, such works as feasibility studies, designing site layouts and preparing drawings, designing both HV connections and protection arrangements for substations and reviewing the project teams work after completion among others.
To be considered for this Design Engineer role, you need to have experience working on projects in the Power Sector of the High Voltage variety. A relevant degree would be beneficial and this role also requires a FULL Drivers license.
